Lions support for brownies adventure holiday

Of all the the many things that we get involved in as Lions, helping youngsters to realise their dreams or ambitions is among the most satisfying. In early July we responded to a request for help from Kerry Middleton for help in raising funds to take 24 Brownies to a week’s PGL activity holiday. The parents were actively fundraising but they had only just over 2 weeks to raise £1800. With an enormous effort from the parents and a small contribution from ourselves, the group made their target and following the holiday in early September Kerry sent us a set of photos with the message that:
