Let’s Go Quackers

Ironbridge Lions have gone “Quackers”! The “Let’s go Quackers” project is the idea of Julie Ward and it involves placing 10 giant ducks, decorated by local artists, at various positions in Ironbridge for 6 weeks from 5^th May and subsequently at Southwater in Telford. The ducks will be sponsored and the proceeds donated to 2 local charities – The Jayne Sargent Foundation and the Severn Hospice. Each duck will sit on a plinth which will carry the name of its 4 sponsors (one sponsor for each face of the plinth). The club will appear as sponsor on 6 of the ducks which will provide a donation of £480 for each of the 2 charities.
