It’s that time of year again when we start to plan for our Summer Season of SOB events. There is of course a problem this year in that the bridge is wrapped in plastic as part of the repair programme and with the restricted walkway it will not be possible to lay a line of coins in the usual way. But we have a cunning plan! Vice President Jim Philbin is busily involved in creating an 8 foot long model of the bridge in plywood which will be the basis for a collecting arrangement considerably  less expansive but, we hope, no less effective, than usual. Pictures of Jim working on his creation can be seen

The season starts on Easter Sunday with a collection for Marie Curie. And then we have a further 7 Silver Over The Bridge sessions running through to 24th October
