Tea on the Way

One of our favourite outings of 2017 was this September trip  with a group from the Jayne Sargent Foundation – a local charity supporting those affected by cancer. The group travelled on the Broseley Friendly Bus to “Tea on the Way”, a superb cafe set in beautiful countryside at Clun, around 6 miles from Craven Arms. President Charlie Miller traavelled with the group and kept them entertained en route . Lions Colin Thompson and John Boydell, with Margaret and Elizabeth, were also part of the party. The weather was excellent, the scones, sandwiches and cakes delicious and a thoroughly good time was had by all.
