Our home community in the Ironbridge Gorge in the beautiful County of Shropshire in the English West Midlands close to the border with Wales.

The Gorge was the birthplace of the industrial revolution and home to the world's first cast iron bridge, built by the local ironmaster Abraham Darby and opened as a toll bridge in 1781. The area is now a UNESCO World Heritage site and its ten award-winning museums attract thousands of visitors all year round.

Members of the world's largest and most active service club organisation.

Membership is open to men and women. Current members come from a wide variety of backgrounds and occupations. Every skill and talent is put to good use

Our club is one of over 900 Lions clubs in Britain and Ireland and one of 46,000 such clubs worldwide.100% of all donations go to good causes, there are no administration fees or charges, the members bear all the costs
